Easy English Strawberry Whole Wheat Scones


1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup strawberries


In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Next, cut in the butter until the mixture is a crumbly texture. Add in the egg that has been beaten along with the milk and strawberries. Mix until combined. Make sure not to over mix. Bake at 400 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes. Makes 9 scones.

*Serve with butter and strawberry preserves or Devonshire cream and fresh strawberry
