Belen Rueda has to be one of the best Spanish female actresses that I have ever watched. It's hard to believe that she is still such a new actress. This Spanish language film, I would say, has a plot that is reminiscent of the classic ghost story. It is an atmospheric, very sad film about a haunted house and a woman who struggles with reality. Though I don't like most of the films by Del Toro, I would have to say that he really did a great job with this one. The acting was superb and the plot was great!
